I just filled in all of my sewing days on my calendar app, and I am completely booked until November 29. This includes current orders (Shannon, Kacky, Theresa) as well as recent inquiries (Seanda, Marcy - I added your possible orders to my sewing days so that I wouldn't overbook myself... I DO have time to make your orders if you are still interested).
At this time, unless you are mentioned above under current orders or recent inquiries, I cannot guarantee that new orders for Jesse Tree ornaments or St Nicholas gifts will arrive on time. I will do my absolute best to complete current orders as quickly as possible, and will update if I have any free days this month for new orders.
If anyone is still interested in Jesse Tree ornaments, I can still make and ship ornaments for weeks 2-4 on time, but the first week of Advent will not arrive before Advent begins.
I may be able to send out one more order for St Nicholas, if anyone is interested... otherwise, I still have 2 weeks free in December for sewing, so I'll be able to either make a couple of Nativity Scenes or several orders for Christmas.
Please do not wait until the last minute to order for Christmas... I generally need at least a 2 week's notice for orders when I'm NOT booked.
Thank you all for your understanding and support. God bless,
Hi everyone!! October went by way too quickly, so I have just a few quick things to say
1) I had planned on getting the Jesse Tree ornaments finished and photographed by the second week of October, but unfortunately they aren't quite done yet. I'm working hard to finish this set so that I can photograph it for you. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll have time to make any more sets unless they're ordered this weekend. I'll take pictures of the ornaments that are finished today so that you can get an idea of how the whole set will look. You CAN order them one week at a time, however, and that'll give me a chance to make a few more sets. I'll just refund the shipping for 3 weeks, since it's my fault I've been taking so long on making these ornaments.
2) Advent dolls - I currently have on the website a page for doll sets, and the first two on there are dolls for Advent. St Lucy, St Nicholas, Our Lady of Guadalupe, St. Juan Diego... If anyone in interested in these dolls, please order them by November 12 the latest.
3) Nativity Scenes - The 10-piece set is almost as time-consuming as the Jesse Tree ornaments, so if anyone is interested in that set it, too, should be ordered this weekend to ensure delivery before Christmas. The 3-piece set only takes about 2 days to make, so you can order that up until December 6 and I'll be sure to get that out to you in time for Christmas.
4) At this time, I am not going to be accepting custom saint orders for Christmas, unless it is a well-known Saint that I haven't listed on my site yet (i.e. most people know who St. Patrick is but I don't think St. Hubert of Liege is quite as common).
Thank you all so much for your continued support. God bless!!
I got the idea from someone else about starting something new for 2014: a Saint of the Month subscription, where customers would pay a discounted, one-time yearly fee and fill out the list below with the saint dolls they would like to receive, and starting the following month, would receive one doll per month for twelve months.
I'll create a page on the site specifically for this once I have access to a computer, and then you would just pick the Saint doll you would like to receive for each month from the list and add it to your shopping cart. I'll have the discounted prices on the Saint of the Month page, but regular prices on the Male and Female saint dolls for regular orders. Until I get the page created, you can just copy and paste the list to an email and I'll send an invoice through PayPal.
Because I am not accepting new orders until March, the Saint of the Month subscriptions won't start until April, but will continue for a full twelve months.
Saint of the Month
As some of you may know, my husband, son and I will be moving on Oct 31. We most likely won't have internet or printer access for awhile, so I will be closing my shop from Oct 30 until further notice.
Therefore, for the next two weeks, I will be accepting orders for the Christmas season. This way, while I still have internet and printer access, I can print the shipping labels ahead of time, and then once we move, even though I won't have internet access, I can still make and ship the orders in time for Christmas.
This weekend only (9/20-9/22) - In honor of All Saint's Day in a little over a month, order your favorite saint doll(s) and receive a Buy One Get One Half Off discount (good for up to FOUR (4) dolls).
Buy one get one FREE, This weekend ONLY (2/16-2/17)
Once the order is placed, I will refund you the money for the free doll(s) :) These make great additions to Easter baskets for the little ones :)
Happy Valentine's Day!
Would anyone be interested in a St Valentine doll?
Free shipping TODAY only! :)
It has just been announced that Pope Benedict XVI will be resigning at the end of this month. This news has come as a shock to many of us.
In an effort to make this news slightly less sad, I am offering FREE SHIPPING on a new Pope Benedict XVI doll that I will be making this week. I am basing the design on this picture, but I will also have him holding a "piece of paper" with the words "Year of Faith" sewn ("written") on.
God bless, and please keep our Holy Father in your prayers.
My baby is battling a nasty virus right now. Coughing, fever, runny nose, chills, body aches.... He's been passed out on the floor for two hours on a blanket and pillow bed I made him :( I woke him up long enough to give him Motrin and take his temperature (100.5) and then he was out again.
I may or may not get out my two orders before Jan 1; that depends on the baby and whether or not hubby and/or I get sick as well, which I am preparing for because I'm starting to lose my voice and have a runny nose as well.
Please pray that the baby gets better soon, and that hubby and I don't get sick, or at least not as severe. Thanks and God bless. Enjoy the rest of this Christmas season!
